A 15 Second playblast of a Lion Jumping off a ledge, animated within Maya. I first looked into a lot of references when it came to large cats as well as the anatomy of big cats and quadrupeds as a whole. I then planned out the scene and curated the reference to match the movement I was after.

I followed the usual process of blocking, getting all the main poses and focusing on the placement of the hips, feet and the weight of the pose. Secondary actions like the tail and ears came last.
